Trinity’s Growing Food Outreach
It started with Sunday lunches and a few shelf stable items we distributed as needed and as available. Now Trinity Mt. Carmel Church of Jefferson County serves hundreds of families at our monthly Food Giveaway events. God has blessed us with a mission, connected us with other organizations, and has shown us how faith brings miracles!

Food Pantry
- Shelving
- Reliable freezer in good working order
- Containers
- Bags – Paper, plastic, or reusable totes
- Food – shelf-stable anytime, fresh foods close to giveaway events only
- We always welcome event volunteers and drivers to help deliver food to families who can’t attend!
Community Gardens
- Shovels, rakes, pitchforks
- Wheelbarrow
- 5-gallon Buckets
- Small gardening tools
- Lumber (for building raised beds)
- Carpentry tools
- Chicken wire or wire hardware cloth
- Fencing
- Topsoil, garden soil, starter mix
- High tunnels, greenhouses, or materials to build cold frames
- Vacant lots in Festus, Crystal City, or Herculaneum for additional gardens
- Volunteers! Bring your skills or learn with us.

Trinity’s Closet
Trinity Mt. Carmel of Jefferson County maintains a collection of donated garments. Do you or anyone you know need a warm coat, a pair of shoes, or some clothing? In addition to seasonal give-away events, all are welcome to browse Trinity’s Closet after Sunday Services, Bible Study, or by appointment.
